The Gyrotension Swing Footers represent the most effective isolation devices we've ever encountered for Speakers and for Turntables. Isolation from vibration and absorption of vibration is key to vinyl playback performance. SME is one high-end turntable that uses an elastic suspension system, which is based on the same concept.
You haven't heard what your turntable is capable of until you've reduced the vibration going on throughout the system by 50% or more. Each Gyrotension assembly has three cereballs isolating the base, height-adjustable top plates and an array of silicon suspension bands. The silicon bands have a weight capacity of .5 lbs each. The load capacity for a footer can be precisely dialed in to the nearest half pound, thus fully maximizing the isolation performance.

- Medium: 4 layers (48 bands - 24 lbs), Diameter - 2.30" Height - 1.25"
- Large: 6 layers (72 bands - 36 lbs), Diameter - 3.25" Height - 1.5"
- Spring isolators require a different set of footers for each load range, whereas the Gyrotension can be fine tuned for any weight throughout the entire load capacity.
