Mytek Digital is a leader in digital converter technology. The Manhattan DAC is full of adrenaline. Transients ride a knife edge, leaving vapor trails. You don’t go to the Manhattan for delicacy; go to it for power, speed, agility and exhilaration. Examine the exterior of the Manhattan…it sounds just like it looks.
Mytek products are created in New York by Polish-born, digital design wizard, Michal Jurewicz, who’s been working on digital converters for the Hi-Fi and Pro-studio arenas for nearly three decades. Mytek products are designed from the perspective of studio mastering and are some of the most feature-rich digital converters on the market, allowing you to make extensive adjustments and dial in the sound.
Note: Jaguar accepts all major forms of payment. Our Mytek products include a 45-day trial period. If it doesn't absolutely blow you away, send it back for a full a full refund (minus shipping and insurance costs).
Note: An initial Break-in period for the Mytek Manhattan, Brooklyn and Liberty DACs of a full 150hrs is critical to their performance. You can run a unit 24/7 for 150hrs straight (play music at high output, amplifier off, then an additional 5hrs with the amp/headphones on). We recommend powering the unit off and let it cool down for 5 minutes each day. Please follow these break-in instructions closely before any critical listening evaluation, otherwise you'll probably won't be happy with the sound.
Femto Clock Technology

I could write a flowery paragraph explaining in detail all of the sonic characteristics this unit delivers but we have all read many professional reviews that describe low end junk and state of the art in about the same collection of verbs. I home auditioned the NAD Masters Series M12 and the McIntosh D150 dac preamps. Both products sounded about the same. So I decided to take advantage of Jaguar's trial and step up to a higher price point. All I can say is the minute the first few notes of music hit my ears I was blown away. There really is a higher return on investment here and this unit is worth every penny. I later purchased the streaming network option. This package combined with a Roon/Tidal subscription is awesome and the Manhattan works perfectly with the Roon interface. The only gripe is they need to furnish their own remote control unit. The apple remote works fine but I have an apple TV so both units were responding to the same commands. Not a huge fan of the apple remote anyway. I got it figured out. Purchased a cheap universal remote and after trial and error finally found a code that would drive the Mytec and then sent the commands to my learning remote. Build quality is outstanding as expected at this price point and the guys at Jaguar are fantastic to work with.
