Jaguar is an authorized retailer for all Shinola Audio Products, designed and built in Detroit, USA. Shinola Turntables, Bookshelf Sound Systems and Headphones are resurrecting Detroit's spirit as one of the great manufacturing centers in the world. Shinola products embody the storied Detroit heritage, offering the highest levels of design, performance and sleek styling...heavy, with built-to-last quality.
Shinola's Runwell Turntable will sonically suit a discriminating audiophile but at the same time is an all-in-one, easy-to-use solution for every music enthusiast. Plus, it's made to eventually be handed down to the next generation, with a Lifetime Warranty. The Runwell's sonic profile is smooth and quiet, fast and energetic, lush and detailed. It excels at that old-school rock and roll sound as well as communicating a nuanced string quartet.
A key to the dreamy Runwell sound is its built-in Phono Preamplifier. Eliminating the need for a separate phono preamp component and interconnect cable significantly reduces the overall system cost. Jaguar offers a few upgrade options, which are meant mostly for our audiophile-tweaker type of customer; other users typically prefer the stock options (call us to discuss the details). Add a pair of the Shinola Powered Speakers and you have a complete system for playback of Vinyl and Computer Audio.
Free Shipping and a 45-day 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! The Runwell comes with a Limited Lifetime Guarantee!
Cartridges: The Runwell is capable of using both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges. Ortofon 2M cartridges have perfect synergy with the Runwell. The 2M Blue cartridge is included with the turntable and it's excellent but you can optionally upgrade to the 2M Bronze or 2M Black model, for higher levels of detail retrieval. Please contact Jaguar with any questions about which model is the best choice for you.
